Author: Matt Fish

Term life insurance quotes are something that many Americans are looking at right now because we are all greatly concerned with most financial situations.  We do not want to think of our money being wasted because we have absolutely no life insurance policy.  Most Americans do not want to think about the thought of dying but we always want to be secure in the fact that when we do die, our family will be covered.

Term life insurance quotes vary greatly.  Most companies are more than happy to give you a quote after a little bit of personal information.  You have probably seen advertisements all over the Internet and television for term life insurance quotes.  Most of the ads lead you to an 800 number where you can call a representative.  You will have to give them some personal information so please be aware of this fact.

Congratulations on taking the first step in getting term life insurance quotes.  The next step is to get out there and actually contact some of the companies that will give you an actual quote!

Cheap Term Life Insurance - Is it Worth It?

Cheap term life insurance is searched over 14,000 times a month, almost as much as “best term life insurance” and “affordable term life insurance.”  The question you must ask yourself when you decide to get term life insurance is “is cheap term life insurance going to be enough for those I leave behind?”  There is little doubt that you can greatly reduce your term life insurance to make it cheap, but you may be risking your value to the beneficiary.

What you must also realize is that if you go the cheapest route possible, you pay more of a premium at the end of the term.  By doing this, you will end up paying more in the long run if you do decide to keep the cheap term life insurance policy.  It is almost similar to getting an adjustable rate mortgage in that you will see more payments on the back end of the policy rather than on the front end.

Overall it is wise to do your research and determine if term life insurance is right for you.  There is risk with any insurance policy but you may be able to save some money if you educate yourself before you sign on the dotted line.

Renter Insurance - How Much Will You Pay?

Renter insurance is something many major cities are now mandating at apartment complexes.  If you were alarmed when you heard this and considered moving to save some money, that may not be necessary.  If you have vehicle insurance of any type, you are likely to be able to get renters insurance for under $15 a month.  While this can add up over the course of a year, it is not likely that it will be enough to force you to move all your belongings especially if you are not ready to look for low mortgage rates.

It is very likely that if your apartment is mandating renters insurance that most other apartments in that county are too.  Before you decide that it is time to move into a different apartment, you might want to call around to a few other places and see if it is a countywide or citywide ordinance that has been passed.  If it is, you are likely to get a very similar insurance policy if you move somewhere closeby.

It seems like the recession has caused many thieves to come out of the woodworks which is one of the major reasons that apartment complexes are forcing tenants to have renters insurance.  It will be interesting to see if these ordinances will continue if and when the economy gets better.
